Dr. Edgar holds a PhD in Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures from the University of Texas and his writing has appeared in Foreign Policy, Task & Purpose, Capital Commentary, and Classics of Strategy and Diplomacy.


Serving more than 22 years as an infantry officer in the US Army, in his final assignment he served as the  political advisor for Israeli affairs to the US Security Coordinator in Jerusalem. Dr. Edgar and attendees discussed the complexities of war and the Middle East, among other topics
