To exchange views on these and other issues, the Council welcomed Elizabeth Kennedy Trudeau. Trudeau is the Bradford M. Freeman managing director of global policy at the President George W. Bush Institute in Dallas, as well as a retired senior U.S. foreign service officer. With extensive experience in the region, she provided a thorough update on events unfolding along the Strait of Hormuz and joined attendees in a thought-provoking dialogue.
